MS 8 Junior Ambassadors at the United Nations

group photo at United Nations, students holding flags and Junior Ambassadors banner

Thirty of the seventh graders were selected through a lottery to visit the United Nations on Wednesday, February 8th. We got to see the different council rooms and the general assembly room. We also got to meet and have a question and answer session with a public associate of the Indigenous People’s Rights. We got this rare opportunity because the seventh graders are a part of the NYC Junior Ambassadors program with the United Nations. Thanks to Ms. Manning who organized this amazing experience.
