The MS 8 Science department in collaboration with CCM-FYI hosted a wonderful family Science Fun Day last Sunday to the New York Hall of Science. It was a great opportunity for teachers, students, and families to spend some time out of the school building engaging in cool scientific experiences. We made slime together, build cars, had hissing cockroaches crawl over us, jumped, climbed, pushed, and pulled all kinds of devices.
A fun experience was had by all. Look out for our next science event coming soon.
“Our time at the New York Hall of science was a good one. Although many of the activities were directed to younger children, there was a lot of fun stuff for all ages. From the largest science playground in America, to simple flight demonstrations, everyone can have fun and learn at the New York Hall of Science.”
