What is your background and education?
I grew up in Upstate NY and attended exclusively public schools from elementary school through college. I attended SUNY Fredonia for my undergrad in English Adolescent Education and CUNY Brooklyn for my masters. I taught in the South Bronx for 6 years and I am so excited to join the Bridges community this year!
What is your favorite part of teaching?
My favorite thing about teaching is talking to kids about books. I love reading and I love encouraging students to become life-long readers!
What do you like to do outside of school?
Most weekends, you can find me walking around a local park, reading on a picnic blanket, listening to music or baking!
